• वो सभी Candidates जिन्होंने भारत के किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से कक्षा 10वीं हाई स्कूल परीक्षा पास की हो और उनके पास आईटीआई प्रमाण पत्र होना चाहिए वो इस भर्ती के लिये आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
• वो सभी Candidates जिनके पास भारत के किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से 10वीं कक्षा के साथ मैकेनिकल/इलेक्ट्रिकल/इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स/ऑटोमोबाइल इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा होना चाहिए वो इस भर्ती के लिये आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
• अभ्यर्थी को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से मैकेनिकल / इलेक्ट्रिकल / इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स / ऑटोमोबाइल इंजीनियरिंग में BE / B.Tech पास होना चाहिए।

• CBT Stage-I and Stage-II Exam (सीबीटी स्टेज- I और स्टेज- II परीक्षा)
• Document Verification (दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन)
• Medical Examination (चिकित्सा परीक्षण)

• CBT 1: 75 questions, 75 marks, 60 minutes. Qualifying in nature (no sectional cutoff, but overall qualifying marks apply). Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for wrong answers.
• CBT 2 Part A: 100 questions, 100 marks, 90 minutes. Qualifying in nature. Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted.
• CBT 2 Part B: 75 questions, 75 marks, 60 minutes. Qualifying in nature (trade-specific).
• CBAT: Qualifying aptitude test for shortlisted candidates from CBT 2 (minimum 42 marks in Part A required to qualify for CBAT).
• Document Verification & Medical Exam: Final stage for selected candidates.

The exam is conducted online (computer-based). Total marks for selection are based on CBT 2, with CBAT qualifying.

Preparation Tips for CBT 1: Focus on 10th-grade NCERT books for General Science and Mathematics. Practice previous year papers and mock tests to improve speed (60 minutes for 75 questions). Qualifying marks: UR/EWS: 40%, OBC/SC: 30%, ST: 25%.

Part A (Qualifying)

• Syllabus: Based on the trade (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile) as per the Director General of Employment & Training (DGET). Covers 10th/ITI-level topics in the candidate's chosen trade.
• Mechanical/Trade Fitter: Tools, Units, Mass, Speed, Work/Power/Energy, Levers, Safety, Environment.
• Electrical: Basic Electricity, Magnetism, Wiring, Safety.
• Electronics: Semiconductors, Diodes, Transistors, Digital Electronics.
• Automobile: Engine Components, Transmission, Brakes, Electrical Systems.

Preparation Tips for Part B: Refer to NCVT/SCVT ITI books for the specific trade. Qualifying marks: 35% (minimum 26 marks out of 75).

• Qualifying Nature: Yes (minimum 42 marks in Part A of CBT 2 required to appear).
• Tests: Includes Intelligence Test, Selective Attention Test, Spatial Scanning Test, Information Ordering, Personality Test.
• Syllabus: Aptitude-based, no fixed topics. Focuses on psychomotor abilities, decision-making, and personality traits suitable for loco pilots.
